Plaskett Meadows is about a one-hour drive on Forest Highway 7 after leaving the pavement at Alder Springs. There are several things to consider for your trip: FH7 is in reasonably good shape but the road is dry and dusty and visibility is reduced when vehicles pass, there is no cell phone coverage along most of the route, and there is no potable water available at the campground. Bring enough water to drown your campfire!!
